A warm and hearty welcome to all the students who will be pursuing their studies at Mawlamyine University. As a prestigious and leading university in Myanmar, Mawlamyine University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across a wide range of disciplines, including Arts and Sciences, Law, Economics, and Marine Science. Notably, it was the first university in Myanmar to introduce programmes in Marine Science, and has successfully produced numerous outstanding graduates in this field.

Mawlamyine University operates in strict accordance with the policies, mandates, and quality assurance policy statements issued by the Ministry of Education of Myanmar. Furthermore, the university is well-equipped with essential infrastructure, including lecture halls, student hostels, University Research Centre, laboratories, Student Recreation Centre, Convocation Hall, University Library, Arts Association Hall, Sports fields and Gymnasiums, Botanical Garden, canteens, University Hospital, and University Post Office.
